I've learned over the years that special family photo opportunities usually happen really quick, which can be challenging, especially when photographing children. If I do my job well though and I capture that moment, these are the photos that often become the family treasures. If the portrait captures your child's unique personality or if it expresses the bond shared in your family, you'll just know it.

I can conduct family photo sessions with a more traditional approach as well, but my natural talent lies in a more relaxed, photojournalistic approach so I can blend into the scene while still capturing those moments.
